What exactly is ku dance Marathon?

It is hard to put it into words. KU Dance Marathon is an emotional-roller-coaster, fun filled, dancing-on-your-feet, laugh-so-hard-you-cry kind of a day. KUDM is a ten-
hour event held in the fall semester at KU. KU students stand during the entirety of the event to show their support for all of our kids and families from KU Pediatrics. The day is packed with relays, competitions, games, photo booths, and of course, every dance style imaginable.

our history

KU Dance Marathon has now raised over $300,000 for KU Pediatrics since 2008, bringing in over hundreds of students to our marathon each year. As the years have progressed, our KUDM family has grown bigger and stronger. We now support over 30 families from KU Pediatrics. Through monetary and emotional support, KUDM has become an essential piece of the Children’s Miracle Network funding in the Kansas City area.

Each year, our monetary support increases. We've come a long way since our first marathon, and we have big plans for our future.
